How it works
Zero setup. Three decisions. Fifteen minutes.
Drop in a URL. OptimizeCamp reads your site, finds the competitors AI actually names, runs the questions your buyers ask, and streams your baseline in live — then keeps the loop running so every fix is measured.
Getting started
URL in. Baseline out.
Five steps, and only three need you. We do the crawling, the test-firing, and the math — you make the calls only you can make.
- 01
Drop in your URL
One field. No tags to install, no data to upload.
We read your sitemap (up to 200 URLs) and deep-parse your most important pages — home, about, pricing, products, top posts — to build a Brand Profile: your name and aliases, products, positioning, who you sell to, your geography, and your core topics.
- 02
Confirm your brand profile
Decision one — a pre-filled card, every field editable.
Fix anything we got wrong and add the aliases that matter (product names, spellings, sub-brands). Those aliases drive mention detection for every run that follows, so this one screen shapes all your data downstream.
- 03
Approve your competitors
Decision two — real companies, verified live.
While you confirmed your profile, we analyzed your category and drafted a competitor slate — real companies only, every domain probed live before it reaches your screen, aggregators and publishers filtered out. Keep the ones that count, add any we missed.
- 04
Pick the prompts worth tracking
Decision three — 30 candidates, grouped and editable.
We propose branded, category, comparison, and informational prompts built from your profile. Check, uncheck, rewrite inline, or add your own — then ask for more of any kind. These become the questions we watch, run after run.
- 05
Watch your baseline stream in
Every prompt, both platforms, live.
The baseline run fires and results tick in as they land — “12 of 50 answers analyzed — you’ve been mentioned 3 times so far.” In about 15 minutes you have a full report, with your three weakest prompts flagged and a direct path into fixing them.
Then it compounds
Your baseline is day one, not the finish line
A number you check once is trivia. OptimizeCamp re-runs your prompts on schedule, queues the next fix, and proves whether the last one worked — every cycle.
Runs on a schedule
Your prompts re-run on your plan’s cadence — weekly on Starter; Google AI daily and ChatGPT 3×/week on Pro and Agency — so every metric trends over time instead of being a one-off snapshot.
The Action Center separates the work
Ready workflow, evidence-backed opportunities, and measurement results stay in separate lanes. Page Priority ranks only page work; content and earned opportunities keep their own measures, and operational tasks get no invented score.
Impact Cards prove it worked
Publish a fix and the page enters a verification state. Once the next two tracking runs land — within fourteen days — an Impact Card shows what actually changed: citation gained, mention rate up, Visibility Score delta on the prompts that page targets. Receipts, not vibes.
Under the hood
Real answers, measured — never a proxy
For every prompt on every platform, we parse the actual response the way a reader would — four signals, scored the same for you and each competitor.
Mention
Is your brand named anywhere in the answer text — under any alias you track?
Citation
Is one of your domains in the answer’s source list, where the platform exposes one?
Position
How prominently — where does your first mention land among all the brands named?
Sentiment
In what tone — the sentence around each mention is classified positive, neutral, or negative.
Those four roll up into a single Visibility Score and a competitive Share of Voice — trended on 7-day rolling averages so day-to-day answer variance never reads as real movement, and annotated whenever you edit a prompt or an alias so a method change is never mistaken for a result. The underlying AI answer is always one click away, your brand and every competitor highlighted inline.
