1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device; local storage is a similar browser mechanism. We use both to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the product is used. This policy works alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. How we use them
| Name / type | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Session / authentication cookie | Essential | Keeps you securely signed in and protects against request forgery. The service can’t function without it. |
theme (local storage) | Functional | Remembers your light or dark theme choice between visits. |
| Product analytics | Analytics | Helps us understand which features are used so we can improve the product. Aggregated and used only with your consent where required. |
| Freemius (third-party) | Essential | Set during checkout by our merchant of record to process payments and prevent fraud. |
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by trusted third parties that power parts of the service — for example, Freemius for checkout and payments. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and clear local storage the same way. Blocking essential cookies will break sign-in and core functionality. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential (for example, analytics) cookies, and you can change that choice at any time.
5. Do Not Track
Because there is no consistent industry standard for “Do Not Track” signals, we do not currently respond to them. We will update this policy if that changes.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy as our practices evolve. The “last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
